Q: What’s updoc?

A: a whole new tutorial section.

I am declaring the “modules and services” milestone done. One of the things it enables is the new tutorials, wherein we publish some example configs that aren’t just “works on my machine, you have to guess how”, and explain how to build and install them. The first two are quite “hello world” in ambition and scope, but the third is a lightly-edited version of the configuration I am very nearly dogfooding at home.

In other news I have begun a port to ARM-based devices. So far I have got “it boots in QEMU” and “I have purchased a sacrificial device”, but I’m waiting for some parts to make a console cable for it, so it has not yet actually been sacrificed.
